The Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of electrical projects of various sizes and scopes. The successful candidate will be responsible for, at a minimum, the following tasks:
- Manage field operations for projects of various scopes and sizes simultaneously.
- Understand and interpret Construction Documents for each assigned project.
- Manage purchasing efforts for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate implementation of contracted scope with Owners, General Contractors, Construction Managers, and other trades as appropriate
- Create and maintain project schedule
- Track project effort metrics such as labor, spending, and production; report progress on a regular basis
- Approve timesheets and expense reports for field personnel
- Provide and maintain various construction documents such as Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Daily Reports, As-Built Drawings, etc.
- Provide electrical, instrumentation, and controls technical support to field personnel on an as needed basis.
- Lead field personnel in EHS awareness and foster this awareness throughout the company and projects.
- Other relevant duties and tasks as required by corporate Management Team
Qualifications:
- 5 - 10 years of relevant electrical experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, or Construction Management from Accredited Institution (preferred)
- Valid NC Driver’s License (required)
- Bilingual – Spanish (preferred)
- Proficient with computers and technology, including standard Microsoft Office programs (esp. Excel and Project,) and AutoCAD (preferred), Accubid (preferred)
- Average physical effort required including pulling and lifting or moving average weight material with occasional lifting or moving materials or equipment (over 25 and up to 40 pounds)
- Ability to travel and stay regionally (NC, SC, VA) on a regular basis (70% of time)
- NC electrical license preferred but not required
